Today's Prill Cattle Co. registered Red Angus cattle run with the commercial herd at the Nebraska Sandhills ranch. This Sandhills environment results in cattle that work in the "real world". The terrain and labor force dictate structural soundness, fertility and very strong maternal traits, with emphasis on superior phenotype, performance and predictable genetics.

In addition, the importance of birth weight, weaning weight, yearling weight, disposition, milk, cow longevity and hard-working bulls are priorities. Excelling in these traits is required by profit-driven commercial customers.
