Red Dawn is one of the best kept secrets of the Red Angus breed. He wasn't campaigned on the show circuit since he was busy working at the ranch. This heavy boned, big footed Red Sky son's pedigree includes some of the prominent James-bred females.

Red Dawn has a phenomenal disposition. He posted a BW of 83 lbs., a WW of 759 lbs. and a YW of 1,455 lbs. Consequently, his WW, YW and Stayability EPDs are in the top 3%, 1% and 10%, respectively, across the breed.

Red Dawn transmits extreme depth of rib, excellent bone, great feet, good fleshing ability, muscle and a docile temperament to his progeny. Daughters are excellent mothers with beautiful udders and they promptly breed back. Red Dawn's sons are large scrotaled, heavy boned, have lots of rib and hip, are aggressive breeders and are in demand by commercial customers.
